Laguna golf course

Laranjal Golf Course
Designed by Santana da Silva, Laranjal golf course was opened to public in 2009. This course is known for its beautiful greens and spectacular fairways. There is a numerous variety of cork, orange and pine trees in this gem golf course. It was also voted as the Best Golf Course in 2011 at the Portuguese Travel Awards. This course requires you to have accuracy and concentration while you play. The world class service at the resort is rated first class. It consists of 18 holes which can be covered in par72.
Ocean Golf Course
It is one of the oldest courses of Algarve. It was opened way back in 1968 and was designed by Sir Henry Cotton. Algarve came to notice on the golfing maps after this course was opened. The ocean views from this course are stunning; especially on the back side nine holes. The hole number 11 has a unique feature of going straight through to the ocean, which makes it a must play course of Algarve.
The old course
The old course is a part of the Oceanico. It was designed by Frank Pennink in 1969. It is also called the Grand Dame of golfing in Algarve. The 18 holes of this course can be covered in par 72. It was renovated a few decades later in 1996. The pine trees line the holes throughout the course, which make it reminiscent of an English style golf course. The most demanding hole of the course is hole #9.
