How To Organize The Perfect Golfing Holiday In Algarve
Most people would love to organise a golfing holiday in Portugal and the Algarve area is certainly the most popular place. The reason is that the weather is always lovely and the best architects in the world design the courses there. However, it will be a struggle when it comes to deciding which resort to visit, since they are all rather similar in quality. That’s what most holiday planners are struggling, so it would be a good idea for you to think ahead! Here are a few things that you should consider:
Your budget
Whenever you are planning for a holiday, the most important thing to think about would be your budget. Ask yourself how much you are willing to spend and evaluate whether it is worth the money. Obviously, there might be some clubs that would rip you off, but do you research on the Internet and find out what you need and want.
The accommodation
When you get to the resort, the room will be essential. You wouldn’t want to stay in a small, funky room for a few days whilst on holiday – that’s unpleasant! Check with the hotel or the resort to make sure you know what you are getting. The best resorts usually have great rooms, but others might not. The ideal case would be to get a room that accommodates your family and friends with plenty of space!
The golf course
Nothing tops the golf course when you are travelling abroad! After all, your trip is about playing the game! Do your research and find out all the information you need about the course. Ideally, the course should be designed by world-class architects with an amazing management team to care for it. In fact, most courses in Algarve are like that, so you just have to pick your favourite!
Other activities
Golf wouldn’t be your only activity. You should be looking at other things you can do as well. Since Algarve is home to many resorts, they offer spa, swimming pool and perhaps even other sports as well. Try and plan for some activities beforehand so that you know what you would be doing when you arrive Portugal. It is important that you do that; otherwise you would be wondering around like a headless chicken!
Check the flight
You wouldn’t want to arrive Portugal at 2am, right? Well, make sure you check the flight time and arrival time properly. If you want to play golf immediately upon landing, then it would be good to arrive the country at roughly 7am and get ready for the round immediately!
